Qualifications
- Must have completed (or in the process of completing) a Massage Therapist program
- Must be fully licensed in Illinois to perform Massage Therapy prior to performing sessions at the studio and consent to background check
- Desire to be part of a team that has a passion for health and wellness
- Availability during prime earning potential periods including nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide 60-90 minute massages to clients by appointment
- Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
- Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
- Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
- Advise clients on stretching, strengthening, or relaxation methods
- Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
Skills and Qualifications
- Recent graduates waiting on licensure are welcome to apply
