Manager Qualifications - A successful Studio Manager believes in the healing power of Massage Therapy and has the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a management role, such as Sales Manager, Operations Manager, or General Manager, preferably within the wellness or service industry
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to success
- Organizational expertise to ensure smooth daily operations, including implementing structure, policies, and procedures
- Customer service-focused with the ability to engage and retain clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges and implement solutions efficiently
- Effective at setting clear expectations, goals, and delegating tasks to team members
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently interact with clients, staff, and vendors
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Flexible availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in training, mentoring, and motivating staff to deliver top-notch service and sales.
- Familiarity with MindBody Software (preferred but not required)
