Key Responsibilities
- Own and achieve monthly targets for memberships, add-ons, and retail.
- Track KPIs (conversion, rebooking, cancels, retail per ticket) and create action plans.
- Lead by example on the sales floor using consultative sales techniques.
- Run in-spa promotions, referrals, and local outreach to drive traffic.
- Ensure warm welcomes, clear recommendations, and smooth check-out for every guest.
- Oversee service quality and adherence to brand standards with therapists/estheticians.
- Monitor reviews and feedback; resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Implement member retention tactics (follow-ups, win-back offers, outreach to at-risk members).
- Hire, train, and coach front desk and service providers; hold regular 1:1s.
- Train team on scripts, objection handling, and client interaction best practices.
- Set expectations, hold team accountable, and maintain a positive, goal-focused culture.
- Manage schedules, timecards, inventory, and POS/cash handling.
- Use booking/POS software (e.g., MindBodyOnline) to manage schedules and reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe spa and communicate performance and staffing updates to ownership.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in sales leadership or spa/fitness/hospitality management with strong revenue results.
- Proven coaching and people leadership skills.
- Experience handling HR-related matters and ensuring compliance.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills focused on preserving client relationships and team morale.
- Proficient with POS/CRM systems (MindBodyOnline or similar preferred).
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Genuine passion for health, wellness, and a welcoming, high-performance spa environment.
