Elements Massage is founded by a massage therapist for massage therapists. Our goal is to provide an environment where you have support and are encouraged to help change peoples lives including yours!

We are seeking Licensed Massage Therapists excited to provide clients with the best therapeutic massage and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Have lots of fun, make lots of money! Repeat.
  • Greet each client with a warm smile, by their first name, with a handshake
  • Mastering the intake process, gathering client information, developing a massage session, and planning and educating the clients on what to expect during the session
  • Checking in with clients during sessions to ensure pressure is adequate at least three times: once within the first 5 minutes, once at the half way point and once during the final 10 minutes.
  • Following the session, debriefing with the clients and make recommendations for clients through the Professional Recommendation Card.
  • Writing accurate and timely SOAP notes prior to leaving studio for the day
  • Arriving on time to studio to ensure proper preparation for clients
  • Beginning and ending massages on time
  • Following proper draping and prenatal protocols
  • Being courteous and professional with all clients
  • Adhering to studio policies and practices
  • Staying professional and quiet both inside and outside of massage sessions to ensure the best possible environment for clients
  • Completing downtime checklist when not in sessions
  • Dressing in uniform (Studio Dress Code) and refrain from using scented lotions, aromatherapy, or perfumes while on duty
  • Complete beginning and end of shift room and studio duties
  • Assisting with keeping the studio a clean and professional environment
  • Maintaining licenses, CEU requirements, and carry current liability insurance
  • Complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations and/or applicable state privacy and security laws
  • Actively participating in staff meetings and communicating with coworkers
  • Following the Elements Massage guiding principles to ensure a warm and inviting environment for both clients and staff
  • Providing timely and appropriate communication with studio management
  • Informing manager of any changes of address/phone, continuing education, etc.
  • Being flexible in a changing environment

Qualifications

What You Need:

  • Active Massage License (Required)
  • Liability Insurance (Required)
  • Medical/Clinical Massage Therapy Experience
  • Positive, driven personality
  • Flexible & Adaptable
  • Strong Team Player
  • Must have availability to work evenings and weekends (at least 1 day during weekend)
  • Prefer prenatal, cupping and other modalities (additional commissions)
  • We are seeking New Graduates, Experienced, and Highly Seasoned Therapists
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and strong client service skills
  • Participate in local studio marketing and various marketing initiatives as necessary
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Computer proficiency for entering notes in Mind Body System
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
